Heavy Rainfall Alert in these states for 5 days

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall in many parts of India, which will be followed by a drop in temperature in the next four days. Heavy Rainfall Alert in these states for 5 days.

According to IMD, there will be rainfall in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, north eastern states, and parts of western India.  In next five days, high speed winds, rainfall.

Along with thunderstorm and lightning will bring down the mercury by 2-3 degree Celsius in many states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, north Rajasthan, Assam, Megahalaya, Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Mizoram, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, etc.

Rainfall along with thunderstorm and lightining will be witnessed by the Western Himalyan region, and rainfall over Northwestern plains during 23 to 26 May.

IMD, in its daily forecast, has predicted heat wave conditions in West Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, till May 23.  Maximum temperature will rise by 2-3 degree Celsius over Northwest India in next 3 days.

Heavy rainfall at isolated parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal & Sikkim.

Thunderstorm with lightning & gusty winds (speed 30-40 kmph) very likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Jharkhand, Odisha,Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, etc.

Lightening with high speed wind in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal AndhraPradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala & Mahe, Coastal & North Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal.
