Heavy Rainfall Alert in Karnataka Till October 2: Yellow alert for 12 districts

India Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be rain till October 2 across Karnataka and has announced yellow alert for 12 districts. The weather department has said that it will rain in Bengaluru for another week. It is raining heavily in the evening in the state capital.

Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belgavi, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgiri, Bellary, Chitradurga, Davangere, Vijayanagar will receive rain. Besides Bidar, Dharwad, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru City, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumkur will receive moderate rain.

Despite the lack of rainfall in Karnataka, many areas are receiving good rainfall. Meanwhile, the weather department has given good news. It will rain in Bengaluru this whole week. Also, Rainfall is going to make a splash not only in Bengaluru but also in many districts of the state.

Coastal districts like Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada will receive heavy rain till September 27, the weather department said. Drought has been declared in 195 taluks of the state. At the same time, the India meteorological department has issued an important notice.

Apart from this, the India Meteorological Department has forecast good rains in the districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Tumkur, Kodagu, Hassan, Bellary, Kolar, also for another week. Heavy rain is likely to occur in a few parts of Bagalkote, Gadag, Kalaburagi, Koppala, Vijayapura and Yadgiri districts of northern interior. The weather will be cloudy in Bengaluru and there is a possibility of thundershowers in the evening.
