Yellow alert for these districts:

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur mainly in the coastal Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and the Chikmagaluru, Hassan and the southern inland Mandya and Mysore districts. So IMD has issued a yellow alert.

Scattered moderate rain is likely in Chamarajanagar, Mysore, Mandya, Ramanagara districts of southern interior. The rest of the region will witness widespread light rain.

Cloudy weather in Bangalore:

Capital city Bangalore will have mostly cloudy weather. There is a chance of fog at times. Rain is likely in the evening or overnight. Maximum temperature will be 26 and minimum temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius.

On Thursday, it rained in different parts of Hassan district. The weather is cloudy in most places and it is raining intermittently. The motorists ran away in the sudden rain. Rain is accompanied by cold. It has been raining since morning in Sakleshpur and Alur.

Kodagu district has been irrigated by rainfall. Cloudy weather prevailed in the district since Thursday morning. Frequent rains have been making an appearance, which has caused hardship to the coffee growers at present. Untimely rains have raised anxiety among coffee farmers in Kodagu. Madikeri, Napoklu, Kushalanagar, Somwarpet are receiving scattered rains.

Kota (Udupi district) 4, Honnavar, Manki (Both Uttar Kannada district) 3, Mangalore, Kumata (Uttar Kannada district) 3, Udupi, Kundapur (Udupi district) 2 cm rained on Wednesday. Karwar, Yallapur (North Kannada District) 2, Kammaradi (Chikkamagaluru District) 2, Hunchadakatte (Shivamogga District) 2, Balehonnur, Jayapura (Both Chikkamagaluru District) 2, Puttur HMS (Dakshina Kannada District) 1. Kalasa (Chikkamagaluru District) 1 cm.
