Yellow alert has been announced for 6 districts of the state including Chikkamagaluru, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga, Kolar, Chikkaballapur. There is a possibility of strong surface wind along with thunderstorms in Bengaluru, warning is given not to stand under trees, under temporary shelter.

After evening there will be heavy rain with thunder and wind. Bengaluru will record a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. Madikeri will record a maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.

The Indian Meteorological Department has warned that there will be heavy rain in some parts of Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Rural, Chikkaballapur, Mandya, Mysuru, Gadag, Haveri and Uttara Kannada districts on Wednesday. Apart from this, heavy rainfall is also forecast in some parts of Chitradurga, Davangere and Tumkur districts on Thursday.

A yellow alert has been declared in these districts. With this, there will be rain in Karnataka till next Sunday (November 12). Rain fell in more than fifteen districts of Karnataka on Monday evening and Tuesday. Not only on coastal Karnataka but also in the north and south inland, there has been light rain.

In the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms may occur in most parts of the southern interior and coastal, northern interior. There are indications of heavy rainfall in some parts of the coastal Uttara Karnataka districts. Apart from this, some parts of Gadag and Haveri districts of northern interior may also experience heavy rain.

Most parts of the southern hinterland are likely to receive rainfall during the next 48 hours. Light rain may occur in many parts of the coast and northern hinterland, sometimes thundery rain is also possible. A warning has been given that heavy rainfall may occur in a few parts of the southern inland districts like Tumkur, Chitradurga and Davangere.
