The important Gruha Lakshmi Scheme of the state government is being launched in Mysuru on August 30, and great preparations have been made for the program. Special arrangements are being made to promote the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme program at the district, taluk and village levels.

The Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is a new initiative by the Karnataka government to support women heads of families. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive financial assistance of Rs 2000 per month. Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: Money will transfer to account on August 30.

There will be live broadcast on 11 thousand places. Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjuna Kharge have been invited to the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme drive. He said that 1.10 crore women have already registered for the ambitious Gruha Lakshmi Scheme of the state government and the official launch of the scheme will be in Mysuru on August 30.

Rs.2,000/- will be disbursed monthly through RTGS through direct cash transfer to the Aadhaar linked bank account of the householder, entered in Antyodaya, BPL and APL ration cards issued by the Food and Civil Supplies Department or to a non-Aadhaar linked bank account.

Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

– Women Head of the Family: Only women who are recognized as the head of the family in the government-issued BPL (Below the Poverty Line), APL (Above the Poverty Line), or Antyodaya cards are eligible to apply for the scheme.

– Government Service: Women who are currently employed in the government service are not eligible for financial assistance.

– Income Limit: The family income of the applicant should be below Rs. 2 lakhs per annum to be eligible for the scheme.

– Taxpayers: Women who are taxpayers or whose husbands are taxpayers are not eligible to avail the benefits of the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.

– One Female Head per Family: Only one female member per family is eligible to receive financial assistance through this scheme.

– GST Payments: Neither the woman nor her husband should be making GST (Goods and Services Tax) payments or filing GST returns to be eligible for the scheme.
