Cyclone Mocha: Heavy rainfall alert in many parts of the state till May 13

Weather Report: The Indian Meteorological Department has informed that there will be heavy rainfall till May 13 due to the formation of cyclone Mocha in the Bay of Bengal. There are chances of heavy rain in South hinterland, Central Karnataka, North Karnataka.

Raichur city and rural areas of Raichur district will expected heavy rainfall on May 6 and 7. And it will rain in southern parts of Kodagu and Hassan. On May 8 and 9, Mandya, Doddaballapur, Mysuru, Kodagu, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Bagalkote, Haveri, Udupi, Bengaluru City, Kalaburagi, Raichur.

And also will expect heavy rainfall in Vijayapur, Belgavi, Hubli, Vijayanagar, Bellary, Uttara Kannada, Raichur, Chitradurga, Koppal, Gadag. Chitradurga, Tumkur, Kolar.

On May 10, heavy rainfall will occur only in Davangere, Kodagu. on May 12 and 13 Hassan, south of Bagalkot, south of Mandya, south of Tumkur, south of Chamarajanagar, Bengaluru rural, Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Udupi, Kodagu, western part of Mysuru and south of Belgavi, Haveri.

On May 14, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum Dakshina, Kodagu, Haveri, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan will receive heavy rain in these places.
