BPL, APL card holders good news: Correction process start from today

Food Department has given good news to BPL, APL card holders. Again the food department has given an order allowing the correction of the card. Ration card correction has been allowed for 9 days from tomorrow. Allowed for correction again from 5th to 13th.

However, once in all parts of the state, ration card correction has been allowed for three days in each division. Additional Director of Food Department Gyanendra shared information about this. In the first zone, correction of APL, BPL card of Bengaluru city and rural districts has been allowed. Correction has been allowed from August 5 to 7.

Specially, correction is allowed from 10 am to 7 pm, ration card correction is allowed only in Bangalore One, Karnataka One, Gram One centers. Last month, the food department had allowed the correction of the ration card, but the server was down and there was a lot of problem to make the correction.

In this context, correction has been allowed only at the service center. Also, a computer with biometric facility is required for ration card correction, which can be done at Bangalore One, Grama One, Karnataka One Seva Kendra.
Beneficiary Name Change, Ration Center Change, Card Member Name Deletion & Addition, Card Head Name Change, Female Head Name Change all these correction will done. Allowance has been given to Bengaluru City and Bengaluru Rural Districts from 5th to 7th.

Now in the 2nd phase, a total of 15 districts including Belagavi, Bagalkote, Chamarajanagar, Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada, Dharwad, Gadag, Hassan, Haveri, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysuru, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Vijayapur have been allowed to amend BPL card from October 8 to October 10.
