Auto shock for Bengaluru people: The meter is going to cut the pockets
After cooking gas, petrol, diesel and hotel food, now the auto price is rise. At the insistence of the auto drivers, the Transport Authority has revised the Auto Travel Rate.
The new order will come into effect from December 9, giving 90 days to change the meter. The revised rates have been cut into the pockets of the masses. As per the revised rate, the first two kilometers will be priced at Rs 30 and then Rs 15 per kilometer.
Overnight, the average rate is one and a half. In addition, the first five-minute waiting charge is free and then every minute charge is set at Rs 5.

20kg luggage charge is free and then charged Rs 5 from 21kg to 50kg. After the hike in 2019, Auto has not increased its fares. Drivers had therefore requested revise the fares.
