SRH former Indian player announced retirement, will join USA Team in future

The IPL Governing Council (GC) in its meeting on Sunday formally ratified Mega Auction dates. As reported earlier, the IPL Auctions will take place in Bengaluru for two days & will be held on February 12th & 13th. In major development IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad SRH former Indian player Bipul Sharma announced retirement and will join USA team in future.

Bipul Sharma has announced his retirement from Indian domestic. He’s represented Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He’ll play for the USA in future now. Bipul Sharma is an Indian first-class cricketer who plays for Chandigarh in domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox, he will play for USA team in future.

He was originally signed by IPL team Kings XI Punjab for the 2010 season and he spent 4 years as a back-up player for the franchise making 15 appearances in total including just a single outing during the 2013 campaign. He was dropped from their roster for the 2014 season. It looked likely that Sharma would go without an IPL team again for 2015 season before an injury Laxmi Shulka saw Sunrisers Hyderabad bring him in as a late replacement.

While Sharma again received limited playing time while at Sunrisers Hyderabad, he did appear in all 3 knockout games of their title winning campaign in the 2016 IPL. His performances included 27 off 11 balls in the eliminator against Kolkata Knight Riders as well as taking the crucial wicket of AB de Villiers in the final itself. Bipul Sharma finished his IPL career with a record low dot ball percentage (26.83%).

In 2020 he signed a contract to play for Formby in the Liverpool League, UK. The contract was later delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic but Sharma is due to appear for them in the summer of 2021. Now he will ready to Join USA Team. SRH recently announced Tom Moody, Brain Lara, Muttiah Muralitharan Coaches for IPL 2022. Another big development that hurt the fans of the Orange Army was the decision to release the big names like David Warner and Rashid Khan from the squad.

However, it seems SRH have learned from their mistakes and are now looking to make a fresh start to their IPL 2022 season. Ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, the Hyderabad-based franchise have named a star-studded coaching staff. Trevor Bayliss stepped down as the head coach after the disappointing season in 2021. VVS Laxman left as the mentor because of his new role in the NCA of India.

So, SRH had to fill many vacant positions, and they have done an excellent job by signing West Indies legend Brian Lara as their new batting coach and South Africa legend Dale Steyn as their new fast bowling coach. Former Chennai Super Kings player Hemang Badani has joined the squad as a fielding coach and a talent scout.

Meanwhile, former Australian all-rounder Simon Katich is the new assistant coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022 is Tom Moody. Brain Lara is the strategic advisor along with the batting coach role. Also, Muttiah Muralitharan is the spin-bowling coach of the team.
