Hardik Pandya led Team India:

Acting captain Hardik Pandya, who led Team India in Rohit Sharma’s absence, recently took over the captaincy from Rohit Sharma in Mumbai Indians. So there was a doubt whether Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian team even in the upcoming World Cup tournament.

Hardik Pandya, who has successfully led the Indian team in 11 T20I matches, is out of the team due to an ankle injury during the 2023 One Day World Cup match against Bangladesh, and there are chances of returning to competitive cricket through the IPL 2024 tournament.
