The Australian players are the highest numbers of foreign players. There are 47 Australian players in the list, 34 in the West Indies and 33 in South Africa. There are 24 players from England, 24 from New Zealand and 23 from Sri Lanka. This time, 17 Afghanistan players have also been placed.

The Afghan player is the youngest player to appear in the mega auction this time around. Noor Ahmed, an Afghan Under-19 player, has been named to the IPL Mega Auction List. The 17-year-old Noor Ahmad is playing under 19 World Cups with 6 wickets in total. The left-arm spinner, Noor has played 33 T20 matches and taken 33 wickets.

17-year-old Noor Ahmed, who has already played in the Caribbean Premier League, Pakistan Super League and Big Bash League, also appeared in the mega auction last year. No franchise had purchased Noor Ahmad, who appeared with the 30 lakhs base price. The 17-year-old young spinner is hoping to get his chance to make his debut in the IPL 2022.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the full list if 590 cricketers who will go under the hammer during the two-day mega-auction for the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League which will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13, 2022. Among the 590 players registered for the auction, 228 are capped international cricketers, 355 are uncapped and 7 belong to Associate Nations. Out of those 590, 370 are Indians and the remaining 270 are overseas players.

And these 590 players will hope to bag a deal as 10 IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad and Team Ahmedabad will place their bids over the two days to rope in some of the biggest cricketing names.
