Jofra Archer’s name is not in the list of players registered for the IPL auction to be held in Dubai on December 19. The bowler, who has been plagued by multiple injuries, suffered a recurrence of his elbow stress fracture while playing for MI in the IPL in May.

The 28-year-old Barbados-born cricketer has not played any professional cricket since then and even missed the ODI World Cup 2023. The ECB believes Archer’s comeback will be easier to manage if he is in the UK in April and May under its supervision if he is on the books of an IPL team in India looking to get his money’s worth,” reported ‘ESPNCricinfo’.
