IPL 2023 : Five uncapped players who will get high prices in mini auction

With just a few days left for the IPL 2023 mini auction, 10 franchises are gearing up to buy the players they want. Lots of players have registered their names for the auction. Among them are genuine homegrown talents who have never played a single match for the national team. However, it is possible to get a lot of money in the mini auction which has been hyped in the domestic tournament so far. Here is a list of some such players. Chennai Super Kings released Narayana Jagadeesan from the squad ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. However, Jagadeesan had scored a string of centuries in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. Therefore, there are chances that Jagadeesan will be sold for a higher amount. Last year, Chennai bought this player for an original price of 20 lakhs

Mumbai’s Shams Mulani is among the uncapped players who will be showered with crores. Mulani is the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy with 45 wickets in the tournament. After this, Mulani was brilliant in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well, picking up 10 wickets.

Karnataka’s right-arm fast bowler Vidwat Kaveerappa is likely to fetch the highest amount in this auction. Kaveerappa, who played for Gulbarga Mystics in the Maharaja T20 Trophy, grabbed 17 wickets in 13 matches. After this, Kaveerappa took 18 wickets in eight matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with an excellent economy rate of 6.36. Many teams need a fast bowler, so Kaveerappa is likely to fetch a hefty sum.

Many teams are eyeing Samarth Vyas who is playing for Saurashtra in domestic cricket. Vyas, who played 10 matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scored 443 runs. It also includes a double century. Also, Samarth, who was known for Big Six CDC in Vijay Hazare Trophy, will open the door of luck in IPL.

Ravi Kumar, who had won the hearts of the fans by his brilliant performance in the Under-19 World Cup, was brilliant with 10 wickets in 6 matches. After this, Ravi made his Syed Mushtaq Trophy debut for Bengal, taking four wickets in the three matches he played. So there is a possibility for them to get more money in IPL.
