Media reports suggest that the revelation is anticipated to occur in Mumbai at 11:30 am, where the cricketing fraternity will be treated to a comprehensive outline of the much-anticipated event. A copy of a media invite of the occasion is doing rounds on social media. As per the media invite, the event will be held at Astor Ballroom, St. Regis, Lower Parel in Mumbai.

According to report, ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will begin on October 5 with reigning champions England taking on New Zealand in Ahmedabad. With a little over 3 months remaining for cricket’s marque event to start, there has been a delay in releasing the schedule. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament.

Out of these, eight teams have already been decided, and while two other teams will qualify for the main tournament via the qualifiers. Ahmedabad is also set to host the final on November 19. India will begin their World Cup campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8 while Ahmedabad will also host their match against Pakistan a week later on October 15, according to BCCI’s draft schedule for the tournament.
