Alongside the South African, former team India pacer Ashish Nehra would also serve as a valuable asset for the franchise as he has the wealth of experience of being in the support staff of franchises in the past. Apart from that, the appointment of Vikram Solanki would also serve as a vital cog in the wheel, if Ahmedabad are successful in appointing him.

A final decision regarding their coaching staff is expected to be taken after the firm gets clearance from the BCCI. However, that might not take too long as Ahmedabad franchise CVC Capitals is expected to get a positive signal from the board. As they have invested from their Asian fund, the same was communicated to the BCCI officials during its recent Annual General Meeting.
