Karkala: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest in Karkala against what it termed the “anti-people policies” and administrative failures of the Congress-led state government.
The protest was held in front of the Karkala Taluk Office under the leadership of former minister and Karkala MLA V. Sunil Kumar. Hundreds of BJP workers and party leaders participated in the demonstration and raised slogans against the state government.
The protesters accused the Congress government of failing to fulfil the promises made to the people and demanded immediate action to address public issues. They alleged that the government’s policies over the past three years had pushed the state into financial difficulties.
The BJP leaders also criticised the government over the issue of BPL ration cards, alleging that the cancellation of cards was causing hardship to ordinary citizens. They urged the government to reconsider its decisions and take steps in favour of the common people.
During the protest, BJP workers expressed their anger against the state government and demanded better governance and immediate solutions to public grievances. BJP leaders, including MP Kota Srinivas Poojary and other district-level party leaders, were present during the demonstration.
