Weather Update: Rain forecast in this part till March 18

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has mentioned in its latest weather bulletin that there will be light to moderate rains with thundershowers over eastern and central India from tomorrow to March 18.

Weather Update: Weather conditions have changed again in many states of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the weather in the country will be affected by western weather disturbances. IMD issued heavy rain alert till March 18 in these places.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has mentioned in its latest weather bulletin that there will be light to moderate rains with thundershowers over eastern and central India from tomorrow to March 18. Widespread rain is forecast over Ganga, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh till March 20.

Isolated hailstorm is likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh on March 17 and 18, the IMD said. The IMD mentioned that moderate rain and snowfall will occur in the next few days over the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

The weather office has forecast clear skies with strong surface winds in the national capital Delhi today. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle at 15 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively. In southern states, hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail over Kerala and Mahe, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 5 days.

Meanwhile, there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature over Northwest and West India during the next 3 days. A gradual decrease of 2-3 degree Celsius in maximum temperature is likely in Odisha during the next 5 days. The India Meteorological Department has said that there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in the rest of the country for the next 5 days.
