Prime Minister Narendra Modi had implemented the  with the intention of providing financial assistance to the farmers in the country. Under this scheme, Rs 6000 per year was directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. Now the Lok Sabha elections at the center are coming up in the next few months. For this reason, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has planned to give good news to the food donors.

It is almost certain to increase the amount of PM Kisan scheme. Rs 6000 rupees per annum is being given to the small and very small farmers of the country under PM Kisan Yojana. This amount will be increased to Rs 8000. This is why the Center has allocated Rs 60,000 crore in the budget to be presented in the financial year 2024.

Once the amount of PM Kisan scheme is increased, the central government will have an additional burden of Rs 20,000 crore. Also, Rs. 80,000 crores are being deposited in the accounts of the country’s farmers every year. 65% of the country’s population lives in rural areas. Farmers are living there in large numbers.

PM Kisan Yojana has already become a boon to the farmers of the country. This scheme provided financial assistance to farmers who were diverting from agriculture. Under the PM Kisan scheme, money is now being transferred to farmers accounts in three installments of a total of Rs 2000 in the country. Once there is an increase in the amount of PM Kisan scheme, an additional amount of Rs 2000 will be deposited in each farmer’s account.

This time it rained all over the country. As a result, important crops have been destroyed. Farmers who have lost their crops are in trouble. India recorded its weakest monsoon in five years. The central government announced the subsidy program in the month of December 2018. 2.42 lakh crore has already been provided by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. Now the authorities have submitted a proposal to the central government to relax the rules and more farmers will be benefited.
