PM Kisan Scheme: Good news, Farmer will get double money

PM Kisan Scheme: Chances of major announcements are very low in this interim budget. However, it is said that the financial assistance for agricultural women may be doubled under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

In this interim budget, there is a possibility of doubling the financial assistance to women beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Scheme). The budget will be presented on February 1 and the budget session will be held from January 31 to February 9. On January 31, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of Parliament.

Chances of major announcements are very low in this interim budget. However, it is said that the financial assistance for agricultural women may be doubled under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Reports say that an important decision in this regard may come in the budget of February 1.

Rs 6,000 per annum is now being given under the PM Kisan scheme. For women farmers it may increase to Rs 12,000. That is, women who own land can get more funding. Apart from this, it is said that there is no possibility of an important decision in the interim budget.

Earlier, according to some reports, it was said that the government has planned to increase the amount of money in the PM Kisan scheme. It was said that the grant amount of Rs 6,000 can be increased to Rs 8,000. The budget session begins a day before the presentation of the budget, on January 31.

On that day, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session in Parliament. The next day, on February 1, the budget will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. According to a report in India Today, the budget session will be held till February 9. The session is likely to be held for 11 days starting from January 31.
