IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states for next 4 days

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rains are expected over the northwest and central regions of the country in the next four days.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Monsoon season is over. But currently, due to Western Disturbance in the hilly areas of North India, rainfall is causing trouble. Due to Western Disturbance, rain is likely to occur in many states of North India including Delhi in the coming days.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rains are expected over the northwest and central regions of the country in the next four days. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh will experience heavy rain and snowfall, the IMD said.

Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi are likely to witness heavy rains on Monday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an ‘orange’ alert for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. It has also forecast heavy rain and snowfall in some areas for the next two to three days due to the influence of severe western disturbance.

According to private weather agency Skymet, the period of rain and snowfall in the hill states will begin from October 13, Saturday. It is known that it will be at maximum level on October 15-16. This change in weather will last till October 17. Noida-Ghaziabad in UP will experience dry weather from October 12 to 14.

On the other hand, there is good rain in some districts of Karnataka and it is likely to continue raining for two more days. Yellow alert has already been announced in some districts. Heavy rain is likely in Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada districts. Bharya of Dakshina Kannada district received 106 mm of rain last day, marking the highest rainfall in 24 hours.

Dakshina Kannada received 106 mm, Udupi 68 mm, Chikkamagaluru 57.5 mm, Dharwad 55.5 mm, Uttara Kannada 36.5 mm, Hassan 31 mm, Chamarajanagar 25.5 mm, the India Meteorological Department said in the report. In the next 2 days, there will be Kumbhadrona rains in many states of the country.

Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra are likely to receive widespread rain. Monsoon rain will spread towards the Himalayas from the western side and from October 14 towards the northwest due to the fall in pressure on the night of October 13.
