Home Loan: Central Govt low interest home loan scheme start from September
Manoj Joshi, secretary of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, said that the scheme will be launched in September to provide loans at low interest rates to people who want to buy houses in cities.
Home Loan: It is said that the Home Loan scheme proposed by the Central Government is likely to be implemented in the month of September. Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri shared the fact that the modalities of this project are being finalized in a press conference today.

Two weeks ago, on August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day 2023 speech had announced a plan to make the dream home of urban middle-class families.
Middle class families dream of owning their own house in cities. We will implement a plan for them soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said on that day the families living in rented houses, informal colonies and slums in cities will be given bank loans at low interest rates to buy their own houses (Home Loan).

Under this Scheme details of loan amount and Loan interest rates are not finalised till. It is said that there is a possibility of getting a loan at a slightly lower interest rate than the normal home loan rate of the banks. According to the currently known information about this scheme, this facility is available only to families who do not have their own house in the city.
