gold and silver price down: There is good news for jewellery lovers as gold and silver prices fell sharply on Tuesday. Gold prices in the national capital fell by Rs 764 to Rs 52,347 per 10 grams. Accordingly, the precious metal had ended at Rs 53,111 per 10 grams in the previous trade. Good news for gold lovers: gold and silver price down today.
Silver prices fell by Rs 1,592 to Rs 58,277 per kg today. It was Rs 59,869 in the previous transaction. It is being said that there has been a decrease in gold prices in the global market, while there has been no significant change in silver prices.
Meanwhile, on Monday, the bullion market was closed due to Independence Day. Earlier on Friday, gold and silver prices rose. HDFC Securities said that the price of spot gold in the international market has reached 1,775 dollars per ounce.

At the same time, silver traded at $20.13 an ounce. On the other hand, domestic stocks continue to rise. The Sensex ended the day trading at 59,842, up nearly 380 points, while the Nifty rose 127 points to settle at 17,825.
