Driving License Suspend: The Indian Parliament passed the 2016 Motor Vehicles Act in the year 2017 in which several new amendments were made and these amendments mean that there are many new ways in which your driving license can be suspended. After amendment in section 206 of the Motor Vehicles Act Act it now empowers the police to suspend the driving license for the following offences.

Don’t do this mistake your driving License may cancel for these reason:

– Not only will you be fined if you are caught over speeding, but the traffic police also has the right to cancel your driving license. So avoid over speeding while walking on the road.

– If the police catch you driving dangerously on the road, you could be fined heavily along with the possibility of confiscating your license. Dangerous driving includes reckless driving and not obeying lanes. If your driving is a threat to the lives of other motorists on the road, it would be considered dangerous driving. Even stunting on a motorcycle is considered dangerous driving on public roads.

– Sitting of three people on a two-wheeler is also an offense according to the Motor Vehicle Act. So while taking a two wheeler on the road, make sure that you have a maximum of 2 people on your motorcycle.

– If caught racing on public roads, a heavy challan is deducted, as well as if caught while racing, the risk of cancellation of driving license increases.

– Drunk driving is a punishable offence, you will face a challan of Rs 10,000 if caught while driving while intoxicated, while the traffic police can also cancel your driving license. Even if caught doing this again, provision of challan up to Rs 15,000 is also included.

– Caught without a helmet increases the chances of getting the DL canceled with a challan of up to Rs 1000.

– Your license can also be canceled for crossing the red signal, so avoid crossing the red light.
