The technical advisory committee will give guidance and advice on what kind of measures should be taken, what kind of preparation should be done, what precautionary measures should be taken. There is no need to check those coming from Kerala and those coming by air.

Currently we have 30,000 RTPCR kits, That is not enough. About three to four lakh kits are required. We have called a tender for it. It is suggested to send it in a week.

Directions for purchase of test kits are given through Karnataka Medical Supplies Corporation. The minister said that only those who have symptoms of covid will be tested, not everyone. A meeting was held with police officials regarding feticide cases. The police officers informed about the legal difficulties and gave some suggestions.

In this regard, the health department officials will hold a meeting in two to three days and discuss about amending the IPC section or bringing a law to prevent detection and killing of female foetuses. He informed that we are going to discuss about the nullity and complication of Prenatal Gender Determination and Fetal Killing Control Act and bringing amendments.
