Udupi district free of coronavirus: Do you know how the District collector fight against the deadly pestilence?

Udupi: Corona disease spread continues throughout the country. The Deadly Corona has also caused panic on the coast. But the Udupi district has been successful in the fight against the disease. This is why Krishna Nagari has made strides towards becoming a corona virus free district. The first corona case in the country was in Kerala. Though coronavirus is spreading in Kerala every day, many districts are not worried.

However, two families of Brahmavara and Kaupu from Udupi district have taken seriously as they are infected with suspected coronavirus in Udupi district. Both families were came  from abroad, so there was an increased concern for coronavirus infection. However, the health checks of both families confirmed negative for coronavirus. Even before the state and central governments were alerted, Udupi District Collector G. Jagadeesh had taken precautionary measures against coronavirus. He was in the process of collecting information from those who had come   from foreign countries to Udupi district. Appearing to have seen the suspected coronal features, he had planned to enroll at the Ajjarakad hospital of Udupi. The isolation Ward had been set up at the Ajjarakad hospital for the coronavirus infected patients. He had even given leave to some colleges in Manipal, Udupi city, to send students home. Students from Kerala state were also tracked. People were educated about the infection and also requested people not roam around streets unnecessarily.

In the meantime, coronavirus in the state was seen, and the anti-coronation campaign began all over the country, with the elderly coroner pandemic in Kalaburagi. Corona viruses spread increased in abroad in coulries like the Gulf countries also  including China, the USA, Italy. Then the people of Udupi, who were living  in abroad, were strated coming back to native. More than two thousand people have returned home from abroad. In the meantime, a nationwide lockdown order has been issued. But even before the Udupi District Lockdown Order, the District administration had made all the preparations for Corona blockade in the district. District Collector Jagadish made Health Department to work accordingly.

The district government was in the process of collecting information on those who had returned from abroad. Over 2,000 people were subjected to Home Quarantine in the district. In the meantime, the three had been diagnosed with coronavirus infection, causing anxiety throughout the district. But the Udupi district has also appealed to the people to strictly follow the lock-down order, avoiding the anxiety of the people. Vishnu Vardhan, the Superintendent of Police of the district, also gave a complete support. In the midst of the lock-down order, the police have maintained a social gap so that people will have no problem buying the goods. This is why people have used the time given by the administration from 6am to 11am.

The people of Udupi district have continued to be educated even during the lockdown. More than 90 percent have complied with the lock-down mandate. District Collector Jagadish and Superintendent of Police Vishnuvardhan have taught a lesson to those who deserve it. The action taken by the Udupi district to prevent the spread of coronavirus has now become a model for the country. Already, three people in the district are receiving coronary care and they are all recovering. It is almost certain to be discharged from the hospital in a couple of days. Those who had primary contact with the corona sufferers in the district were treated for coronation and the report was negative. The Home Quarantine Ordinance was made compulsory by the filing of a criminal case against the Home Quarantine. The period of those now in the Home Quarantine is already over.

No newly infected coronavirus has been found in the past six days. There is also no report of a hospital with suspected corona symptoms. Thus, the Udupi district becomes a corona-free district.

The absence of a minister in charge of the district was highlighted as coronavirus emerged.

However, District Collector G. Jagadeesh has effectively fought the Corona with the full support of the officer. Compared to other districts, people are not forced to leave the house without having to taste the baton. People are always in touch with administraion through Facebook and are able to meet their needs. The incidence of coronavirus infection in the district is very low. But the district has sealed all the borders in the wake of coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts. He first visited all the borders of the district and inspected the security. For the coroner’s sufferer, a private hospital in the Udupi district is completely dedicated to the country. Together, the fight against the corona has finally come to an end. Its much needed to appreciate the work of the District Collector G. Jagadeesh, who had started his career as a lecturer and was now teaching the discipline of the people as a district collector.
