LPG Price Down: There is good news for the customers, there is a possibility that the price of LPG cylinder will decrease. The central government will soon take a decision on gas prices to bring peace to the common people of the country.
Through this, the central government has come forward to provide gas at cheap rates. This scheme is likely to reduce the price of both LPG and CNG gas. The burden on the people is increasing due to the rise in gas prices for the past few days.
Gas price cap is likely to be fixed. The committee is devising a plan to control gas prices. Under this, it is planned to fix the price cap of natural gas from old sector of public sector undertakings. Gas is likely to be recommended.
This decision will reduce the prices of both CNG and PNG. This will give a lot of relief to the common people. According to the information received so far, it seems that this committee has met under the leadership of former member of the Planning Commission, Kirit S Parekh. It is being finalised.
The committee is expected to submit its report to the government soon. Different formulas can also be prescribed for difficult areas. The government is working on different formulas with respect to regions. The existing higher payment rate formula is expected to continue.
