Bengaluru: Corona Effect has recently hit police dogs working with the police which was like nightmare to criminals. Thus, the mock training is given so that they will not forget the detection of crime activities.
Usually police dogs are used to detect cases like bomb blast, terror attacks etc, but now due to lockdown criminal activities have been dropped, so these police dogs are also affected by lockdown.
The police department is aware of the handling situations like finding thieves, terrorist attacks and many other emergencies. Even dogs work 24 hours together with policemen during such severe cases.
The Adugodi police station has many breeds of dogs like The Doberman, German Shepard, and Labrodar nearly there are 62 police dogs. They are expert in detecting criminal cases in Silicon City.
Now ACP Ninga Reddy’s team is working to prevent them from being dull. There are a total of 62 police dogs and each dog is trained daily by constables so that they remain active daily.
Dogs have a tendency to detect criminals by smell, so policemen are training dogs during lockdown to ensure that dogs do not forget how to detect criminals.
