Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag on the Red Fort tomorrow. The flag will be hoisted at 7.30 am on August 15. Modi will hoist the flag for the 9th time as the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi will reach Raj Ghat at 7:06 AM. Bow down to Gandhi’s tomb and leave for Red Port. It will leave Raj Ghat at 7.14 and reach Redkot at 7.18. He will receive a guard of honor from the army and hoist the flag at Red Fort at 7.30. Prime Minister Modi will start his speech from 7.33.

Seven thousand people are expected to participate in the program. Security has been provided by ten thousand police personnel including central reserve force. CCTV with FRS (Facial recognition system) technology has been installed. A special team has been formed for vigilance and an eagle eye is kept on suspicious persons. DRDO’s anti-drone system has been implemented to prevent drones, kite flying, suspicious drones.

Doordarshan and All India Radio will telecast Prime Minister Modi’s speech live. Prime Minister’s speech will be streamed live through Press Information Bureau (PIB) YouTube channel and Twitter handle.
