IMD issued heavy Rainfall alert in these places

Rain has reduced in the coastal districts of the state and there is a possibility of moderate rain on Friday, the India Meteorological Department has predicted. IMD issued heavy Rainfall alert in these places.

The department has informed about this, it rained in most places on Wednesday and Thursday and in a couple of inland places. Mainly Kumuta of Uttara Kannada district, Madikeri, Bhagamandal of Kodagu district, received 2 cm rain each.

On June 16, moderate rain is likely to occur in all coastal districts. The weather department has predicted that there will be rain in some parts of the interior. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted heavy to heavy rainfall in various parts of India during the next five days.

The Met department also stated in its forecast that light to moderate rainfall with heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall is likely to prevail in parts of south Rajasthan on June 16-17. It added light to moderate rainfall with heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall is also very likely over southeast Rajasthan on June 17 due to the impact of Cyclone Biparjoy.
