Highest single day covid-19 Cases in India; total tally at 1,06,750; here is top 3 states

New Delhi: Highest ever spike of 5,611 COVID-19 cases and 140 deaths in single day. Total number of cases in the country now at 1,06,750, including 61,149 active cases and 3,303 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday, 20 May.

2,078 new coronavirus cases were reported in Maharashtra. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra to 37,136. Among the total people infected as on date, 9,639 have recovered and 1,325 have passed away. 688 new coronavirus cases were reported in Tamil Nadu. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu to 12,448. Among the total people infected as on date, 4,895 have recovered and 84 have passed away. 500 new coronavirus cases were reported in Delhi. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Delhi to 10,554. Among the total people infected as on date, 4,750 have recovered and 168 have passed away. All state cases in single day as of 8:00 AM on May 20 according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
