Coronavirus in India: Delhi-resident tests positive in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu:A resident of Delhi has tested positive for novel coronavirus in Tamil Nadu, the government said. This is the second case Covid-19 in Tamil Nadu.

TN Health Minister Dr C Vijayabaskar informed about the second case of Covid-19 via social media. According to the details provided by the health minister, the patient hails from Delhi and is in isolation ward now. The health minister has stated that the condition of the patient is stable and is in observation.

The Tamil Nadu government has announced that all educational institutions, theatres, malls, gyms, amusement parks and swimming pools will remain shut until March 31. IT Reported.

The government also ordered that wedding halls and resorts must not take fresh bookings until further orders and that sports arenas, bars, clubs and other recreational facilities should remain shut until March 31.

The government said that no permission will be given for rallies, public meetings, summer camps, conferences, exhibitions, cultural or sporting events until March 31. Planned events can take place, but with fewer crowds, the government said.

The government also advised people to avoid mass gathering at places of worship and said that screening of people should take place at places of worship. People in Tamil Nadu have also been advised to avoid travelling to other states for the next 15 days.
