Bengaluru: Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is likely to start operating from May 16, Wherease state government is yet to take a decision on extending the lockdown.
The focus in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak shall be to reduce transmission rate and increase public activity gradually while adhering to guidelines. BMTC has made preparedness to operate post lockdown and further action will be taken only after government directions”, a press release from BMTC
BMTC is strengthening its Covid-19 containment strategy and stepping up on city bus operation activities in a calibrated manner as the nationwide lockdown nears an end stated on Friday.
