Bengaluru – Murudeshwar special train service start from tomorrow

The South Western Railway Department announced that special trains will run from yeshwanthpur railway station in the state capital Bengaluru to Murudeshwar once a week. Bengaluru Murudeshwar special train service start from tomorrow December 10.

On the insistence of the passengers, the South Western Railway Department has decided to run the Bengaluru-Murudeshwar weekly train (Train Number – 06563) from December 10 to January 29 as once a week. Its schedule, routes, stops can be found here.

This train will depart from yeshwanthpur railway station at 11.55 pm every Saturday during the scheduled period. It will reach Murudeshwar next day Sunday afternoon at around 12.55 pm. In this way, the weekly train will run a total of eight trains till January 29, the department has informed.

This train will depart from yeshwanthpur and reach Murudeshwar via Chikbanavara, Nelamangala, Kunigal, Sravanabelagola, Channarayapatnam, Hassan, Sakaleshpura, Subrahmanya Road, Kabaka Puttur, Bantwala, Suratkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapur, Byndur, Bhatkal.

The train will stop at each of these stations. A train (Train No-06564) will depart from Murudeshwar every Sunday at 1.30 pm from December 11 to January 29 via the same route. It will arrive at Yeswantpur railway station at 4 am on Monday next day.

The train has a total of 16 coaches, including one air-conditioned second-class coach, two air-conditioned third-class coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, four second-class general coaches, South Western Railway officials said in a press release.
