Allegation of dereliction of election duty across the state: Transfer of 6 officers including DySP

Bengaluru: In the background of allegations of dereliction of election duties across the state, the Election Commission has issued an order to transfer 6 officers including DySP. Apart from this, two police officers have been transferred due to dereliction of duty during the election. Surpura DySP Manjunath and CPI Anand Wagmode two officers have been assigned and transferred. It is understood that in many riot cases including Devadurga, the transfer was done on the background of failure to control the case. New Delhi: The bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been reserved by the Roose Avenue court on Tuesday. Accordingly, the order will be announced on April 26 at 4 pm. Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI earlier this year in connection with irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the state’s now scrapped excise policy.
