Karnataka 2nd puc result 2026 declared, official announcement at 6 pm
Bengaluru : The Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2026 has been declared online, with students now able to check their scores through official platforms. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa will formally announce the results at a press conference scheduled for 6 pm at the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.
Students can access their results on the official website karresults.nic.in. In case of server issues due to heavy traffic, results can also be checked via DigiLocker, which is being used for the first time to provide digital marks cards.
The Second PUC Examination-1 for the academic year 2026 was conducted from February 28 to March 12 across 1,217 centres statewide. A total of 7.10 lakh students from 5,174 colleges had registered for the exams. Among them, 2.92 lakh students appeared in the Science stream, 2.11 lakh in Commerce, and 1.42 lakh in Arts.

This year, for the first time, marks cards are also available on DigiLocker. Students can download their digital marksheets directly from the DigiLocker app or website (digilocker.gov.in). This option is especially useful if the official website is slow or unresponsive due to high traffic.
Additionally, results will be sent to students via SMS, and can also be accessed through the Karnataka One mobile app.
Officials said the move to provide results via multiple platforms aims to reduce server load and ensure smoother access for lakhs of students logging in simultaneously.
With the introduction of DigiLocker access, students can now quickly and securely download their marks cards without waiting for websites to load, making the process faster and more convenient.
