The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2023 or LIC Scholarship 2023 notification has been released by the Life Insurance Corporation of India on its web portal, https://licindia.in/. LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation has issued scholarship scheme notification for award scholarships to meritorious students this year. LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation invites online applications from eligible students.

The objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships to talented students belonging to economically weaker families to provide better opportunities for higher education and increase their employability.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Amount

Selected candidates will get an amount of INR 20,000 per annum (General Scholars) which will be paid in three installments.

INR 10,000 per annum will be awarded to selected special girl child scholars. This amount will also be transferred in 3 installments.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Criteria

Private candidates pursuing courses through correspondence are not eligible to apply for LIC Student Scholarship 2022. LIC Jubilee Scholarship cannot be awarded to more than one student in a family.

Selection of candidates for LIC Scholarship 2022 will be based on merit. Selection process will be conducted on the basis of descending order of marks obtained.

A relaxation in the upper limit of annual family income from INR 2,50,000 to INR 4,00,000 per annum will be given in cases where the woman (married/single/widow/single mother) is the sole earning member of the family.

The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 is awarded to students who have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous examination taken by them and who fulfill the necessary income eligibility criteria.

Candidates selected under the ‘Special Girl Scholar’ category should score 50% marks in class 11 to be eligible for renewal scholarship.
