Actor Vikram was admitted to Cauvery Hospital in Chennai due to a major health issue on Friday. He is 56-year-old. Tamil Actor Vikram heart attack admitted to hospital. According to sources, Vikram was admitted due to a heart-related ailment. Vikram was supposed to participate in the trailer launch of the upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in Chennai at 6 PM.
On the professional update, his films Cobra and Ponniyin Selvan: I are slated for release in 2022. Vikram is also known as Chiyaan Vikram and by his real name Kennedy John Victor (Kenny). He has acted in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi movies. He has also received national award, seven Filmfare Awards, Tamil Nadu State Film Award and the Kalaimamani Award of Tamil Nadu Government in 2004.
Vikram is an Indian actor and playback singer who predominantly appears in Tamil cinema and also appeared in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi cinema. He is among the most decorated actors in Tamil cinema, with awards including seven Filmfare Awards South, a National Film Award and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
Amongst his other honours include the Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2004 and an honorary doctorate by the Popular University of Milan in May 2011. Based on the earnings of Indian celebrities, Vikram was included in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list for 2016 and 2018. He did several variety roles in his films, and he is among the prolific actors in Tamil cinema.

One his career-best performance was Pithamagan in 2003 which bagged him a National Film Award For Best Actor. His role in Anniyan movie as Anniyan, Remo and Ambi continues to remain in the mind of the audience. He also starred opposite to Aishwarya Rai in Tamil version of Raavanan.
In his release in 2022, Vikram acted along with his son Dhruv Vikram in the movie Mahaan. Vikram also served as Youth Envoy for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme in 2011. He is the brand ambassador of Sanjeevani Trust and Vidya Sudha.
