After burning Khan’s effigy and public boycott appeal, the movie is in the news again after Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) sought the actor’s apology over his upcoming movie Pathan’s ‘Besharam Rang’ song.VHP Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain called Khan “arrogant” and said that “If Shahrukh Khan doesn’t apologise, we will not allow the release of the movie Pathan.”

The superstar, in his speech at Kolkata, had said that India’s social media has become narrow-minded. On this, the VHP leader further added that “Instead of apologising, Shahrukh Khan has become arrogant.” “By juxtaposing Bhagwa colour with ‘Beshram Rang’, Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan has disrespected the Hindu religion and entire India,” Jain said.

Activists of an outfit staged a protest against the upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song Besharam Rang in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Wednesday. The protest came hours after state minister Narottam Mishra called for a ban on the movie over “objectionable scenes” and the use of saffron costumes.The activists of Veer Shivaji Group gathered at a road intersection and set effigies of actors Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan on fire, PTI reported.
