Mumbai: The e-mail stated Salman Khan must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. The mail, addressed to one Prashant Gunjalkar, said if Khan wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy bhai, adding “there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega” (next time he will receive shock). The Bollywood actor had recently bought a bulletproof SUV amid death threats. The boy was detained after the police with technical help tracked the number from which the call was made to Shahapur in Thane district, located 70 km from Mumbai, an official said.

Day after Mumbai Police received a call threatening to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan, a 16-year-old boy was arrested from Thane district on Tuesday. The teenager, a resident of Rajasthan, allegedly made a call to the main control room of Mumbai Police on Monday. The boy was detained after the police with technical help tracked the number from which the call was made to Shahapur in Thane district, located 70 km from Mumbai, an official said,

The police then reached Shahapur and detained the boy. He will be handed over to the Azad Maidan police in Mumbai for further legal process, the official said.

Multiple death threats to Salman Khan

Last month, Salman Khan received a threatening e-mail, following which his security was stepped up by the police. An FIR was also registered by the Bandra police registered against three persons — gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and one Rohit — for allegedly sending a threatening e-mail to Khan’s office.
