Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has been recommended numerous dialogue and shot changes by the Central Board of Film Certification. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan has been recommended numerous cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). While there have been suggestions for changes to some dialogues and shots, it looks like Deepika Padukone’s controversial saffron bikini might still be seen in the action film!

CBFC suggests cuts for SRK’s Pathaan

From asking to replace RAW with Hamare to suggesting omitting sensual moves in Besharam Rang, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan received more than 10 cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Some of the dialogue revisions include changing Langde Lulle to Toote Foote, Ashok Chakra to Veer Puraskar, ex-KGB with ex-SBU and Mrs Bharatmata with Hamari Bharatmata.

Additionally, the word scotch was to be replaced by drink while a text saying ‘Black Prison, Russia’ has to be altered to Black Prison. Aside from that, PM is to be replaced by President or Minister and the word PMO has to be dropped from 13 places.

Coming to Besharam Rang, according to the viral picture, close up shots of buttocks, ‘side pose (partial nudity)’ shots and visuals of sensuous dance movements during the lyrics ‘Bahut tang kiya’ have to be replaced with ‘suitable shots’.

While the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested several changes from dialogues to shots, one notable factor is that, Deepika Padukone’s controversial saffron bikini in Besharam Rang has not been mentioned in the viral picture.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan marks Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback after a four-year hiatus from full time acting. Scheduled to hit screens on January 25 this year, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will also be seen in pivotal roles in the action film. Additionally, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan will be reprising his role as Avinash Singh ‘Tiger’ Rathore in an extended cameo appearance.
