Reports revealed that Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt had been roped in to play the villain in the film. It will be for the first time Dutt and Vijay will be sharing a screen space in a film. As excitement around the film is skyrocketing, fans are eagerly awaiting updates.

The Bollywood veteran will also be a father. The publication cited a source saying, “Though the character is modelled as a father on paper, it’s essentially a gangster role.

Both Sanjay and Thalapathy Vijay will be seen as a gangster in the film and share a unique dynamic in Leo.” Although the exact track of the two has been kept under wraps, the gangster twist is seemingly similar to The Godfather & Peaky Blinders.

It’s well known that Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt will be seen in a crucial rule in Tamil star Vijay’s most eagerly awaited gangster drama, Leo. Sanjay had shot alongside Vijay in the film’s Kashmir and Chennai schedules. And here a few interesting snippets about Sanjay’s role in the movie.

Interestingly, Sanjay will be playing Vijay’s father in Leo. Both the father and son will be seen as gangsters in this Lokesh Kanagaraj universe. Apparently, Sanjay has been paid a whopping Rs 10 crore to play this part. On the other hand, Vijay will be seen as a chocolate factory owner in Kashmir, staying away from the gang wars.

Also starring Trisha and action hero Arjun in key roles, Leo is slated to hit silver screens on October 19. The film has Anirudh Ravichander’s music.
