Baahubali fame Prabhas is making his Hindi debut with the Adipurush and people can’t wait for it already. This morning the actor announced the official release date of the Om Raut directorial and further got his fans curious.
Prabhas last night had dropped a post saying that some special announcement will be made today. The actor stood by his promise and announced the release date of the film saying that Adipurush will release in theatres on 11.08.2022.
So the makers have finally locked the date and it will be August 11th when we will get to see this modern-day adaptation of the epic Ramayana. While Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist and as Kareena Kapoor Khan said, he will be a sexy villain in town.
With these two big names and talented hunks headlining the project, the audiences are waiting for this epic saga to unfold on the big screen. However, the makers have not yet announced their leading lady and we were the first one to break the news that it’s probably Kriti Sanon who’s in talks to play Sita for the film.
Adipurush will be released in Hindi and Telugu and dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The makers are going all out for this big-film. The film goes on floors early next year, meanwhile, Prabhas finishes shooting for Radhe Shyam alongside Pooja Hegde.
