The news that actress Sunny Leone’s picture has been published in the TET 2022 admit letter is being circulated in the media and the education department has clarified that this is not an omission caused by the department or the government. On November 6, the examination was conducted in 781 centres in all the districts of the state and 3,32,913 candidates appeared. The exam attendance was 92 per cent. The department said that the examination was conducted in a very systematic manner without any loopholes under the leadership of the District Collector.

Before applying online for the exam, each candidate creates his own user ID and password and registers themself. User ID and password information generated in this way will be completely confidential and private information of the candidate.

By logging in using this, the candidate has to fill all his information, scan the photograph and signature and upload it in the prescribed column, after making sure that the information given by him is correct. After submitting the application, pay the prescribed application fee and get a printout of his online application.

Candidate downloads his admit card by entering his application number and date of birth. This software has KSWAN internet facility and is installed on the server controlled by State Data Center (SDC) of E-Governance Department of the entire Government of Karnataka. With this in mind our office software is completely secure. Other than the candidate, they are not allowed to make changes in the online application.

Therefore, the department has no role in the news broadcast in the media. The education department has informed that the police department has been requested to investigate the case and take appropriate action against those responsible
