SSLC Result: 100% consecutive for prestigious Alvas Kannada Medium School, 99% for English Medium

Moodabidri: Alvas Kannada media and English medium high school, run by Jainakshi Moodabidri Alvas Foundation, has made a mark in the SSLC examination.

In the SSLC exam, Alvas Kannada Media School scored 100 per cent results and Alvas English Medium School got 99 per cent results. 4 students of Kannada media high school are statewide. Prakruti Priya and Sammed Mahavira scored 622 each.  Kavya P Halli and Shravya scored 621 marks. Sakshi Raj kumbar and Rakshita Dhanlinga each scored 620 marks.

Alvas Kannada Medium High School, which has been hailed as a model school in the state, has been producing 100% results for the past 12 years. This time the Kannada media high school, which provides free education to poor and talented students, has done well. All 160 students of Alvas Kannada Medium High School have passed first class while two students have scored hundred in English language.

In English medium high school, 537 students have written the exam, of which 531 students have passed with 99% results. Ananda Patil and Reshma M. Poojary has performed well with 620 marks. Educated under the Free Adoption Education Scheme, Srinivasa Sudugadu Siddha (615 marks) has achieved remarkable performance and Kavya Kudubi scored 612. In both kannada and english division, 91 students scored over 600.

365 students scored 100 marks in the subject exams. “This is a remarkable achievement for an educational institute in the state,” said Dr. Mohan alva. Prakash Shetty, Administrator of Alvas High School, Prashant B, Headmaster of Kannada Media High School, Vijay T. Murthy, Headmaster of English Medium High School, P.R.O. Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy was present at the press conference.
