Moodubidire: A second PUC test in the midst of fears of coronavirus infection has outputted great result in Alvas Pre-University college. A total of 2,779 students appeared for the exam this year, with 2,753 students passing.
Of the 2,229 students who appeared in the examination in science, 2,209 passed, with a result of 99.10 per cent. In the Commerce stream, 502 students appeared for the exam and 496 students got passed with 98.80% results. Out of the 48 students in the Arts stream, all have passed with 100% results.
18 students scored 98%, 304 students scored 95%, 1,050 students scored 90% and 1,767 students scored 85%. 2,658 students scored first class, 74 students are second class and 21 students scored third class.
In Science, Anarghya K scored 592 marks, Raghuveer Matad 592, Lishan A.A. 592, Anil Bannishetty 589, Bagesh Kodagunoor 588,
Vinayak Jnanappa Gaddi 588, Suveeksha V. Hegde 588, Maheshwari H.C. 588 and Swati B. Malemath has scored 587 marks.
In commerce, Harsha J. Acharya 593, Ishwar Vijayaswamy Elegar 591, Shreya KB 591, Prateetha 590, Rihal Ayyappa M S. 590,
Shri Samarth G 589, Bhargavi b. 589, Chandan D. Hegde 589, Priyanka G. Dhanya 589 and Aishwarya M. scored 589 points. Chairman of the Alvas Foundation, Mohan Alva, congratulated the hardworking students and staff of the college for their excellent results.
