The Karnataka government has hinted at imposing ‘tougher restrictions’ in the next four days to battle the Covid-19 crisis. The state government said that it is almost certain that a third wave of Covid-19 pandemic is ‘inescapable’. State revenue minister said that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will announce tougher restrictions in the state to control the spread of the virus. The minister said that the high-power committee on Covid-19 will meet on January 4 or 5 to discuss the need for more restrictions in Karnataka.
