School Summer Holidays 2024 new date announced

The activities of the academic year 2023-24 are coming to an end and the next academic year 2024-25 is about to start, so an annual action plan/guideline for educational activities has been prepared for uniform implementation of educational activities in schools across the state.

The Karnataka education department has released the Annual Educational Activities Action Plan/Guidelines for the year 2024-25 for government, aided and unaided primary and secondary schools of the state curriculum. School Summer Holidays 2024 new date announced.

With regard to the above matter, the activities of the academic year 2023-24 are coming to an end and the next academic year 2024-25 is about to start, so an annual action plan/guideline for educational activities has been prepared for uniform implementation of educational activities in schools across the state.

The guidelines include annual/monthly lesson allocation, extra-curricular activities, result-oriented activities for quality education, curricular activity bank management in addition to celebration Saturday (No Bag Day) and CCE (Examinations/Evaluation) activities at various school levels.

Date for necessary preparation as usual in current year: School is advised to start from 29.05.2024. Accordingly, the schedule of the annual educational action plan is fixed. To help implement uniform educational activities in the academic year 2024-25 in all government-aided and non-aided primary and high schools of the State.

The academic activity periods available in total annual days, including holidays, have been prepared accordingly. It has been suggested to implement and enforce the State Curriculum in all the schools as set out below.

Mid-day meal even during holidays:

Thus, the education department used to distribute food grains to the children during the summer vacation for the benefit of the students. But this time, it has been decided not to distribute food grains as it is thought to provide mid-day meal to the students in the schools itself.

With this decision of the education department, children will not play in the summer vacation, go to their grandmother’s house in a distant town, go to relatives’ house and enjoy the vacation, stay away from the plan of doing travel programs and attend summer camp? A question has arisen.

6 years compulsory for admission of 1st standard:

Class 1 admission for the academic year 2024-25 will also start from June 1. From this line, the school education department has implemented a rule that the student must have completed 6 years of age on the date of enrolment for class 1 admission.

It remains to be seen whether the school education department will announce any other program for children by April 11, and whether any new program will be implemented during the summer vacation.
