The Karnataka state government is thinking of resuming the free shoe, socks and free bicycle distribution scheme for the students of the state government schools from the next line, so the amount of expenditure incurred by the students in these two schemes in the year 2022-23 will be directly credited to the bank account of the School students.

It is said that the state government is ready to transfer cash. Since 2018, the state government has suspended the scheme of distribution of free shoes, socks and free Bicycle to 8th class students in the wake of Corona economic crisis. Therefore, the state government has thought of depositing the shoe, socks and Bicycle grant directly into the children’s bank account from the next academic year.
