Karnataka Graduate and Teachers Council elections will be held on 13-06-2022. School and colleges holiday on June 13 in Karnataka. The Karnataka government has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in several districts on June 13 on account of elections to the Legislative Council from Graduates and Teachers constituencies.

The holiday has been declared in the districts of Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Belagavi, Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, Hassan, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Uttara Kannada. Against this backdrop, the state government has announced a one day special casual holiday for schools.

The Karnataka state subordinate secretary has issued the order and said that the voting will be held on 13-06-2022 for the North Western Graduate Area, Southern Graduate and North Western Teachers constituency.

Graduate and Teachers Council elections will be held in the North Western Graduate constituency of Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Belgaum. Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya and Hassan Districts in the Southern Graduate Area. Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Belgaum in North Western Teachers constituency .Dharwad, Haveri, Uttara Kannada District in the Western Teaching constituency.

The Karnataka government announced special holiday on Monday 13-06-2022 for government and private schools and colleges, Aided and non-Aided educational institutions, state and central government offices, factories and other banks and private factories.
