NEET UG Exam 2023 Tomorrow: Check new guidelines dress code and other details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting this year’s National Eligibility and Entrance Test for this year’s Undergraduate NEET UG 2023 examination tomorrow, May 7, 2023. More than 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear for India’s only medical entrance exam. NEET UG Exam 2023 Tomorrow: Check new guidelines dress code and other details.

NEET UG is conducted in 13 languages through which admission is offered to 10 courses including MBBS. The written exam will be conducted at 499 locations across the country. The NEET exam will be held on May 7 from 2 PM to 5:20 PM.

The duration of the exam is three hours and twenty minutes in which candidates have to attempt 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks. Admit cards for NEET UG 2023 can be downloaded from neet.nta.nic.in using application number and date of birth.

Candidates can enter login details like their date of birth and application number to get the admit cards easily.

Here are the steps:

Go to neet.nta.nic.in.

Click on the Admit Card link that appears on the home page.

Log in with your application number and date of birth and download the NEET admit card.

The NEET exam syllabus is based on NCERT for Class 11 and Class 12 Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions on the four topics mentioned above. There will be total 45 questions for each subject and maximum marks will be 720.

Each topic consists of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will consist of 15 questions. Candidates should attempt 10 questions from Section B. Each question carries four marks and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer and 0 marks are awarded for unanswered questions.

Important Notes:

1. Candidates appearing for NEET 2023 should carry a valid ID proof along with their admit card to the examination centre.

2. One passport size photograph should be pasted on the attendance sheet If the candidate forgets to bring their admit card, they will be denied entry to the examination hall.

3. Students should reach the examination venue on or before the reporting time mentioned in their admit card.

4. Candidates appearing for the examination have to follow the prescribed dress code. Clothing with long sleeves, shoes, jewelry or metallic items is not permitted. Low heels slippers and sandals are allowed.

5. Students are not allowed to carry text materials, bits of paper, geometry/pencil boxes, plastic pouches, calculators, scales, writing pads, pen drives, erasers, calculators, log tables, electronic pens etc. inside the examination centre.

Special Notice for Bengaluru Students:

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s road show is taking place in Bengaluru tomorrow, students are advised to plan their route in advance and leave early to avoid any traffic jams or delays. Here are some tips that may be helpful:

Check traffic updates and road closures in the area before leaving for the exam. You can do this by checking local news websites or traffic apps.

Avoid areas where the roads how are taking place if possible, as there may be heavy traffic and detours.

Follow the traffic rules and regulations and obey the instructions of the traffic police officers.

Carpooling or using public transportation is a good option to avoid traffic jams and parking hassles.

Carry all necessary documents including admit card and valid ID proof to avoid any last minute problems.

Arrive at the examination center well before the reporting time to avoid any unnecessary stress or anxiety.
